Activities we do in the garden

July 03, 2006

Activities we do in the garden The children love being able to go into the garden whenever the weather allows. Whether it be riding the toys car, playing with dolls and pushchairs, playing in the ball pit, playing in the sand and water, whatever they choose to do they have great fun. Sometimes the garden is a place they can explore, lifting leaves, moving stones, digging a little, this is where they can learn and gain knowledge and understanding of the world around them.

For older children we have an 8 feet trampoline (parents must give their permission for this activity), also a swing ball, hop scotch, basketball net and various other outdoor activities. All activities in the garden are supervised.

Walnut Tree Farm Park, St Brides, Newport

July 21, 2010

We all had a great day out. The children were able to hold the rabbits and feed the goats and loved playing in the Wendy house.

We all enjoyed our lunch in their cafe.

After lunch the children played in the adventure playground and had a ride on a horse. The older children were able to drive the bumper cars. Everyone enjoyed the day and the children have asked to visit again soon.

Have a look at some of our photographs we took there.
